We have a new calendar, which should be suitable for most situations. For example, you can combine many different types of events into the same calendar view so that some events can be seen by everybody, and some are only visible to certain users. Events can be retrieved as an RSS feed also, of course.

The calendar itself is very nice and clean, we took Karl O'Keeffe's Monket Calendar as a starting point.

There has been some questions whether the calendar can be downloaded. This calendar is not stand-alone anymore but it uses the underlying framework for data and functionality. At this point the answer is no, I'm afraid, it cannot be used without the surrounding software.
