I think we haven't been clear in our instructions - the process should go as this:
1. First, inform us of the change so that we can actually create the needed DNS settings on our end. This takes only 1 minute and will be working right away. 2. Do the DNS transfer at your registrar - this takes longer as the "whole internet" is going to be updated what comes to your domain. Individual ISPs cache the DNS settings so it takes a different amount of time to get it working everywhere. Normally 48 hours at most.
So, please send me email, tell what domain you were transferring and I will create your domain on our end for you.
Sorry for the confusion - these DNS settings are never very user friendly. But we will improve our instructions.
DNS settings..
Hi,
I am having trouble transfering my DNS name servers to Editsite. It has been almost 48 hrs but so far the changes have not gone into effect.
I emailed but so far no response. I talked to my registrar and they said there is nothing they can do.
I would appreciate if someone could help me out. Thank you!
